The agreement between FIND and the person booking work.
Version 2026-07-27 · Guava Technologies, Ndola, Zambia
FIND is operated by Guava Technologies, a company registered in Zambia with its offices in Ndola. In these terms, "FIND", "we" and "us" mean Guava Technologies, and "you" means the person using the app to book work.
FIND is a marketplace. We introduce you to independent skilled workers — we call them pros — and we handle the booking, the pricing rules and the record of what happened. The pros are not our employees. They run their own businesses and they do the work themselves.
You need a Zambian mobile number to book. That number is your account: we verify it by SMS, and changing it needs a fresh verification because anyone holding the number can reach your job history.
Keep your phone and your PIN or screen lock to yourself. Work booked from your account is treated as booked by you.
You must be 18 or older to book on FIND.
Some categories have a fixed menu — you see the price before you book and that is the price. Others are quoted: a pro comes out, looks at the job, and sends you a quote in the app. You are free to decline it.
Where a callout fee applies it is shown before you book. If you decline the quote, the callout fee is still owed — the pro travelled and gave you their assessment, and that is the thing you paid for.
All prices in FIND are in Zambian Kwacha and include any tax due. Cash and mobile money are both accepted; what a given pro takes is shown on the job.
You can cancel before a pro accepts at no charge. Once a pro has accepted and is on their way, cancelling may cost the callout fee, because someone has already given up other work and started travelling.
A pro can also cancel. When that happens we look for another pro for you and you are not charged for the cancelled attempt.
When the work is done the pro asks you for the four-digit code shown on your job screen. Give the code only when you are satisfied the job is finished — it is the app's record that you agreed it was done.
After that you pay the pro directly, by cash or mobile money, and you can rate them. Ratings are how the next person decides.
Tell us through Help & support in the app. If money is involved we open a case on the job, a person at FIND reviews it, and we come back to you either way.
Where we find a client was overcharged or charged for work that did not happen, we will put it right — by refund where money moved through us, and by recovering it from the pro where it did not.
Treat pros the way you would want to be treated in someone else's home. Threats, harassment, discrimination or damage end an account, and serious cases go to the police.
The same applies the other way. A pro who behaves badly is suspended while we look into it.
We are responsible for running FIND honestly: the prices we show, the records we keep, the vetting we say we do, and handling your reports.
The work itself is done by the pro, and they are responsible for it. What we can be held liable for is limited to what you paid through FIND for the job in question, except where Zambian law does not allow that limit — nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.
Pros are asked to hold their own insurance where their trade calls for it. Ask before booking if the job carries real risk.
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you we will show it in the app and ask you to accept before you book again.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction.
