FIND

Terms of Service — FIND Pro

The agreement between FIND and the artisan doing the work.

Version 2026-07-27 · Guava Technologies, Ndola, Zambia

Who you are dealing with

FIND is operated by Guava Technologies, a company registered in Zambia with its offices in Ndola. In these terms, "FIND", "we" and "us" mean Guava Technologies, and "you" means the pro using the app to find work.

You are not our employee. You run your own business, you choose which jobs to take and when to work, you use your own tools, and you decide how the work is done. Nothing in FIND creates employment, a partnership, or an agency between us.

What we do is introduce you to clients, hold the record of what was agreed, and take a commission when a job completes. What you do is the work.

Getting approved

Before you can take work we check who you are: your NRC number, a photo of your NRC, and a live selfie taken in the app. We do this because a client is letting you into their home, and that is not a thing to be casual about.

Tell us the truth on your application. A false name, someone else's NRC, or trades you cannot actually do will end the account, and we will report identity fraud.

We can ask for more evidence for trades where bad work is dangerous — electrical work in particular. We can decline an application without giving a full reason, and we can re-check you at any time.

Commission and your wallet

FIND takes 15% of the job price as commission. It is deducted from your FIND wallet when the job completes — not from the client, and not from the cash in your hand. The client pays you the full agreed price directly.

That is why the wallet has to be funded before you can go online. You need at least K10 in it to receive offers, and each completed job draws its commission from that balance. If the balance runs out you stop receiving offers until you top up.

Top-ups are made in the app by mobile money. Money you put in is yours: it is a float against commission, not a fee. Ask support and we will return an unused balance when you leave.

Every deduction is on your wallet statement with the job it belongs to. If a figure looks wrong, report it — do not let it sit.

Taking work

When a job matches you we offer it to you alone for a short countdown. Accept it and it is yours; let it lapse and it goes to the next pro. Nothing bad happens for declining a job you cannot do — that is what declining is for.

Go offline when you are not available. Being online means you are ready to travel now, and a client waiting on a pro who was never coming is the worst thing this app can do to someone.

Your work area is yours to set, from 1 to 50 km, and we measure it from where you actually are rather than the address you registered with.

Doing the job

Move the job forward in the app as it actually happens — on my way, arrived, working, done. The client is watching that, and a status you did not really reach is a lie told in your name.

Quote honestly on callout categories. The quote is what the client decides on; inflating it once you are standing in their yard is the fastest way off this platform.

Ask for the four-digit completion code only when the work is genuinely finished. It is the client's record that they agreed, and it is your protection too.

Keep the work on FIND. Taking a client off the platform to avoid commission ends the account — and leaves that client with no record, no dispute route and no way to be made whole.

Getting paid

The client pays you directly, in cash or by mobile money, at the price agreed in the app. FIND does not hold your money and does not pay you out — there is nothing to wait for.

Charge the agreed price. Extra work means a new quote in the app, agreed before you do it, not a bigger number at the end.

You are responsible for your own tax, including turnover tax, and for any licence, permit or insurance your trade requires. We are not your accountant, and we do not withhold on your behalf.

Your rating and your score

Clients rate you after a job, and the app keeps an activity score built from how often you accept offers, how often you finish what you accepted, and how steadily you work. Both feed which pros get offered a job first.

You can see every part of that score, and the behaviour behind it, on the Performance screen. Nothing about it is hidden from you.

A new pro starts at a fair score rather than at zero, because a score you cannot earn work to improve is not a score.

Sustained low ratings, repeated no-shows or cancelling accepted jobs will reduce what you are offered, and can end the account.

Behaviour and safety

You are going into people's homes. Threats, harassment, discrimination, theft, damage or anything sexual towards a client ends the account immediately, and serious cases go to the police.

The same protects you. A client who threatens or harasses you is suspended while we look into it — report it, and leave if you feel unsafe. No job is worth your safety, and walking away from one for that reason will not be held against you.

Do not send someone else to do a job you accepted. The client agreed to you, and we vetted you.

If something goes wrong

Report it through Help & support in the app. Money problems — a commission you think was wrong, a top-up that did not arrive, a client who did not pay — open a case on the job and a person at FIND reviews it.

Where a client disputes a job we will ask you for your side before deciding, and we will tell you the outcome either way.

Suspension and leaving

You can stop working on FIND whenever you like. Go offline, or ask support to close the account and return any unused wallet balance.

We can suspend an account while we investigate a report, and we can end one for fraud, unsafe work, abuse, taking clients off-platform, or a sustained failure to show up. Where it is not an emergency we will tell you why and give you a chance to answer.

Suspension does not erase money. Wallet balances and job records survive it, and a dispute already open still runs its course.

What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for running FIND honestly: dispatching fairly, calculating commission correctly, keeping the records, and handling your reports.

The work is yours and so is the liability for it. What we can be held liable for is limited to the commission we took on the job in question, except where Zambian law does not allow that limit — nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.

We do not guarantee any amount of work, any number of offers, or any level of income. It is a marketplace, not a job.

Changes, law and contact

We may change these terms. If a change matters to you — commission, how dispatch works, what the wallet requires — we will show it in the app before it applies to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction.
